😞 I long for the day when our nation truly returns to being “One Nation Under God.” And not just in words, but in spirit and in truth…
🇺🇸 When I hear the Pledge of Allegiance declare, “one nation under God,” my heart grieves 💔… because I’m not sure this nation is under the same God anymore…
This nation has allowed what God calls ungodly to be called godly. It has allowed what is wrong to be declared right, and what is right to be called wrong.
The god many serve today is their sin, and NOT the God of the Bible.
📖 “Woe (judgment is coming) to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” (Isaiah 5:20 AMP)
📖 “Their fate is destruction, their god is their belly [their worldly appetite, their sensuality, their vanity], and their glory is in their shame, who focus their mind on earthly and temporal things.” (Philippians 3:19 AMP)
But I STILL believe there is hope, if we as a nation turn back to The Lord 🙌🏼
❤️ The God of the Bible. “Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12)
❤️ The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. “Also He said, ‘I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ Then Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.” (Exodus 3:6)
❤️ The God who was, who is, and who is to come. “…Holy, holy, holy [completely perfect and faultless] is the Lord God, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all]; who was, and who is, and who is to come [the unchanging, eternal God].” (Revelation 4:8)
❤️ The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End [the Eternal One].” (Revelation 22:13)
❤️ The King of kings and Lord of lords. “They will wage war against the Lamb (Christ), and the Lamb will triumph and conquer them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him and on His side are the called and chosen (elect) and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14)
❤️ The One who has all authority in heaven and on earth. “Jesus came up and said to them, ‘All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.’” (Matthew 28:18)
Oh how we NEED Him‼️ “Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it, Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
Without Him, this nation canNOT stand.
BUT with Him, NOTHING will shake us 🙏🇺🇸🙌🏼
